The Julie Billiart School Akron campus is supported by a rich history and community partnership. I joined the JB family in 2017 as an Intervention Specialist in Akron's launch year and am honored to be part of a mission-driven organization where students thrive. I've also had the privilege to serve as Assistant Principal and Director of Special Education in 2019 prior to becoming Principal in 2023.
JBA is a thriving, nurturing community for students from Akron and the surrounding area. From its earliest planning stages to today, this is a safe place where children who learn differently can flourish.
I have seen tremendous growth at JB Akron and am honored to continue JB’s unique approach to education. We’re excited for another year of growth, connection, and success and we are ready embrace our theme of “illuminate the world and let your light shine!”

Gabrielle Redovian graduated from Walsh University with her undergraduate degree as a Mild/Moderate and Moderate/Intensive Intervention Specialist and a masters in Curriculum and Instruction. She got her start in teaching at Buckeye Local schools. She joined JB Akron in 2017 as an Intervention Specialist and moved into an administrative position as our Assistant Principal and Director of Special Education before becoming Principal in the fall of 2023. Gabrielle currently lives in Akon with her husband, children Gavin and Adalynn and their two dogs, Ember and Sydney - who you will also see at JB every day!
