Brecksville, Ohio, [August 21st, 2024] – Julie Billiart Schools (JBS), a leading provider of educational services for children with learning and social differences, is thrilled to announce the grand opening of their fourth campus. Located in Brecksville, OH, the new campus will provide a nurturing and supportive learning environment for students.
On November 15, 2022, the Brecksville City Council and Planning Commission voted to approve JBS’ purchase of the former Chippewa Elementary School–8611 Wiese Rd., Brecksville, OH 44111. Almost two years later, on the first day of school, they launched Julie Billiart School Brecksville, and welcomed the first 46 students into the newly renovated building! They invited members of the community to join them for a presentation and ribbon cutting ceremony. Lannie Davis-Frecker–JBS President & CEO, Samantha Evers–JB Brecksville Principal, and Alyssa Buzas–JB Brecksville Asst. Principal were joined by Daryl J. Kingston–Brecksville Mayor and Fr. Ryan Mann of St. Basil the Great to present to the community of Brecksville. The students of the new Brecksville campus took part in the ceremonial cutting of the ribbon standing side by side with their teachers.
Julie Billiart School Brecksville is beginning with grades Kindergarten-Fourth this year and will open up to full capacity with grades Five-Eight starting next year.
The expansion of JBS is a direct response to the growing demand for their specialized programs. The new campus features 1:8 teacher-to-student ratios, state-of-the-art classrooms, specialized therapy rooms, and outdoor learning spaces. These facilities will enable Julie Billiart Schools to offer even more comprehensive services to the students.
Julie Billiart Schools is committed to providing a high-quality education that meets the unique needs of each student. The new campus will offer a variety of academic and therapeutic programs, including individualized instruction, art therapy, music therapy, speech therapy, and occupational therapy.
