They have all the resources necessary, specialized to the individual learning of each child, and the heart that goes with it. I don't think we would have stayed in Ohio if it wasn't for JB!

Julie Billiart Schools is proud to spotlight Autism Speaks as our August Community Feature. Autism Speaks is committed to offering solutions for the needs of individuals with autism and their families. They strive to do the most good for the most people affected by autism. They do this through advocacy and support, increasing understanding and acceptance of individuals with autism, and advancing research into causes and better interventions for autism spectrum disorder and related conditions.
Together, Autism Speaks advocates with and for the collective autism community. As employees, board members, volunteers, and grant reviewers, people with autism are directly involved in the work and mission of Autism Speaks on a daily basis. Autism Speaks also works on behalf of those individuals who cannot speak for themselves. Together, they advocate for and champion the needs of the autism community.
To learn more about Autism Speaks, visit autismspeaks.org. Julie Billiart Schools has proudly sponsored and participated in many Autism Speaks events in past years. This year, check out the Walk on Wheels at Beachwood Place Mall on Sunday, October 18! Julie Billiart Schools is proud to be a sponsor of the event.
