Take the Next Step
As parents, we all know that childhood goes by in flash and next thing we know, we have high schoolers who are quickly becoming adults. It is imperative to have the tools necessary to help our children make the transition to adulthood and this transition may look different for a child with special learning needs. Even more importantly, some adult children may be seeking assistance with public benefits.
This presentation is intended to provide to you a roadmap as you embark upon this journey with your child. We will discuss guardianships vs. powers of attorney, Medicaid vs Medicare, and SSI vs. SSDI, answer any questions you may have and help you pave your path as a parent/guardian of a child with special needs.
