Our Mission

The mission of Julie Billiart Schools is to nurture and empower students with special learning needs. As Catholic K-8 schools rooted in the educational principles of the Sisters of Notre Dame, we welcome diverse faith traditions. 

We do this by:

• Creating safe, structured, and joyful school environments where students feel a sense of belonging 
• Giving our students the necessary tools to advocate for themselves 
• Hiring and developing a team of highly qualified administrators, BCBAs, intervention specialists, and therapists to guide our curriculum 
• Engaging all students in a challenging and comprehensive full-day curriculum while honoring and exploring their individual learning needs 
• Integrating speech, occupational, art, and music therapies into our educational program 
• Providing intentional social experiences that build lasting relationships and social skills
• Extending support and resources to our families including Aftercare and Beyond Camp
• Striving to make a JB education accessible to families of all socioeconomic backgrounds through scholarships and tuition support
