This year has been one for the books! Between JB Akron and JB Lyndhurst, we will be sending a record 25 students off to high school. We are confident that the skills they have learned during their time at JB will prepare them for the road ahead. Our 8th-graders wanted to leave our younger students with some parting advice!
- Focus on your dreams. Don't let anyone say you can’t. - Demarion Lyons (JB Lyndhurst)
- My advice for the younger students is to enjoy the moment and not worry too much about the little things. And don't try to grow up too fast because being a teenager is hard. - Abi Barravechia (JB Lyndhurst)
- Always be open-minded and honest. It will be easy. - Nevaeh mike-johnson (JB Akron)
- My advice is to take patience and perseverance when solving a difficult task. - Dayvon Drayton (JB Lyndhurst)
- If you need help, don’t be afraid to ask. - Makara Malott (JB Akron)
- Be nice to everyone because you could need them in the future. - Derek Mothersbaugh (JB Akron)
- My advice for younger/other students is to never give up. If things seem challenging, just push through and believe that there are greater things ahead. Also, don't EVER change who you are for someone else. Be who you are and if people don't like it, tell them to deal with it. ;D - Athena Senadenos (JB Lyndhurst)
- Be good and make good choices. - DeJumar Garrett (JB Akron)
- Make sure to work hard and do your best, especially in your last years of being at JB.because how you do in your last years at JB is important for your high school to know how you are as a student. - Giuliano Cozzette (JB Lyndhurst)
- Be nice to your teachers and work hard and never give up! - Anthony Majzun (JB Akron)
- Be kind to other people. - Bailey Wolfe (JB Lyndhurst)
- Always use your voice. Don’t be afraid to speak up. - Alyssa Lewis (JB Akron)
- Don't get consumed by peer pressure, otherwise, you'll miss out on making your own, fun, decisions. - Shawn Wroblewski (JB Lyndhurst)
