Hello and welcome to Julie Billiart School Brecksville! We are so excited to be expanding our footprint across Northeast Ohio. Before becoming Principal at JB Brecksville, I spent my career as an intervention specialist in a variety of settings, grades K-12. I was blessed to be able to serve as the Principal at JB Westlake for the past few years before transitioning to Brecksville. I am so excited to continue Julie Billiart Schools’ award-winning, transformative education model and services to this new community.
JB Brecksville will open in the fall of 2024 to grades K-4 and will open to our full model, K-8 in the fall of 2025. The opening of this campus would not be possible without the incredible support from our board members, administrators, and everyone working to make this space come alive.

Samantha Evers graduated from the University of Dayton in 2014 with a bachelor's degree in education as an intervention specialist. She joined Teach for America as a corps member for two years and worked as an intervention specialist at Collinwood High School in various settings and grade levels. While earning her masters in education from Johns Hopkins University, she became the intervention specialist in an elementary cross-categorical unit in the Willoughby-Eastlake School District.
While there, she completed a second master's degree in educational administration from Ursuline College. Samantha was drawn to the opportunity to work at Julie Billiart Schools after learning more about the incredible mission and values that she aligns with. “ I am honored and blessed to have the opportunity to continue to expand our mission by launching a new campus in Northeast Ohio,” she said. “The field of special education has been my drive and passion for many years, and I am thrilled to belong to a network of schools that celebrates and empowers the diversity of students with learning differences.”
