A Letter from our Board Chair
As I write this letter, I am grateful for so many things. Grateful for the opportunity to serve and support a school with such an important mission. Grateful for the work started nearly 70 years ago by the Sisters of Notre Dame, to serve those who learn differently. Grateful for all the families who put their trust in our schools. Grateful for the intervention specialists, therapists, and the entire JB team who put kids and families first and created top-notch virtual learning and services to support the JB community in an uncertain environment.
The Board of Directors is responsible for working with the school leadership to advance this mission while exercising fiduciary oversight and ensuring accountability. The vision of serving students with our unique learning environment and approach, all supported by the charism of the Sisters of Notre Dame - what we call the “JB Way” - is what guides everything we do.
Thank you for believing in Julie Billiart Schools, and the children and families who depend on us. To all of our parents, faculty, and staff, advocates, community partners, donors, grantees, and friends – thank you for all that you do. The JB Way would not be possible without all of you.
And as St. Julie reminds us - God is good….all the time!
