Julie Billiart Schools has helped my child become a better version of himself. The teachers and therapists at JB really know and understand how to reach children who learn differently.

“My grandson was diagnosed early with autism. They said he would be fine in a typical Kindergarten so that’s what we tried, but we could tell right away that it wasn’t a good fit,” said Andrea, the grandmother of a Julie Billiart Schools third grader.
“After exploring all of our options, we knew that Julie Billiart Schools would be a better fit for his needs. From the day he started, his life changed for the better. We noticed his behaviors were better, he started talking more, he was making friends, and he was enjoying school work. He was a totally different child - but in the best way! He’s fallen in love with the idea of being at school. There is something special about getting notes from teachers about your grandson having exceptional participation or having an outstanding day. I can’t stress enough how life-changing it’s been for all of us since my grandson started at JB,” said Andrea.
Andrea and her family needed a school that they could trust to support and embrace her grandson’s unique social and educational needs. Finding a warm and welcoming environment can be the first step to a life-changing educational journey. Julie Billiart Schools, with campuses in Akron, Lyndhurst, and Westlake, offer a comprehensive K-8 education for children with mild to moderate autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and other learning differences.
