  • Student Selection Process

During our admissions process, each student’s readiness is individually evaluated. Prospective students for grades 1 – 8 must be between the ages of 6 and 13 at the time of application. Those students entering Kindergarten must be five years old by August 31. Students must have an I.Q. of 80 or above with a deficit in one or more academic areas.

We accept students with special learning needs who may not meet the eligibility criteria for receiving state-funded special education services. These children may need more time to cover the curriculum or require a smaller group instruction methodology.

Julie Billiart School does not offer programs for cognitively disabled, severe behavior disordered or emotionally disturbed students.
