The Julie Billiart Schools Admissions Officer will help students and their families explore enrollment into Julie Billiart Schools. The candidate will serve as a warm, welcoming, and knowledgeable guide for prospective families as they navigate the application processes.

Position Overview

The Admissions Officer will answer questions about JB, the application process, screening, financial aid, tuition, and more. The candidate can expect to spend approximately 50 percent of his or her time corresponding with families (via phone, email, or webchat), all of whom have requested information about Julie Billiart Schools. The candidate will maintain an active database of interested families.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Take inbound calls on behalf of all Julie Billiart Schools campuses - answering questions, guiding processes, registering families for open houses and screenings, and establishing a connection.
• Manage outbound call volume to respond to prospective student requests for information and/or guidance.
• Build a strong relationship with prospective and current families by having the ability to listen, identify their needs, and follow the JB Way.
• Track and manage necessary paperwork for the application, financial aid, and enrollment processes.
• Schedule tours and meetings on behalf of the Director of Enrollment and JBS Principals when appropriate.
• Follow through professionally and consistently on inquiries, requests, and suggestions.
• Track applicants through the enrollment process.
• Prepares weekly and monthly activity reports, including call trends and statistics - to the Director of Enrollment and Marketing.
• Work closely with the JB marketing team to identify recruiting interests and trends and set advertising and awareness efforts accordingly.
• Attend open houses and external recruitment events and fairs. Organizes all necessary materials for such events.
• Schedule tours, open houses, and appointments as needed.
• Perform other duties as directed by the supervisor.

Requirements

Education and Experience

Required

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in communication, public relations, sales, or a related field

Preferred

• Work experience in education, training, customer service, sales, or related industry
• Willing to consider a recent graduate with a passion for customer service, sales, or related industry

Job Requirements

• Availability to work a flexible schedule that includes some evenings and weekends.
• Have excellent verbal and written communication skills, warm and professional telephone manner.
• Have interpersonal skills to interact with students, management, and peers.
• Experience with CRM preferred. Must have the willingness to become proficient in navigating customer relationship management systems and multiple software systems while communicating with students.
• Are self-motivated, flexible, and able to work in a team environment with minimal supervision.
• Ability to approach recruiting assignments with creative and innovative ideas.
