Ryan Heffner JB '05,--was one of three Lake Catholic students to be chosen for Leadership Lake, a highly coveted honor among Lake County public and Catholic schools. Only 3 students are chosen from each of the Lake County public and private schools.
On Friday, February 8, 2008 Ryan spoke to the student body briefly and explained Leadership Lake and his service project. It consisted of raising funds to purchase school supplies for the poor Lake County students. The children were asked to bring a $1.00 each for a dress down day on February 13 and additional money to have their faces painted. From all appearances it proved to be quite successful.
